John A. Pessoa, an Associate at LSN Partners, advises clients on their state and local government relations, particularly in Florida, Miami-Dade County, and its 30+ municipalities. He provides guidance on legislation, regulation, and a wide range of government processes, including state and local procurements of goods and services.

John also holds the position of Associate Attorney at LSN Law, a boutique law firm, where he counsels clients on state and local government law, particularly on legal matters related to government procurements, government contracts, and land use.

Before attending law school, John worked as an Associate at LSN Partners for nearly four years. He conducted legislative and regulatory research; monitored and analyzed local, state, and national legislation; helped execute a variety of advocacy campaigns; and worked with clients throughout the government procurement process.

A Miami native, John graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2023. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College in 2016.
