Seth Platt provides procurement and lobbying consultation services, research analysis, and marketing and media consultation for private sector clients in LSN’s Broward County office. Considered one of Broward County’s most trusted procurement advisers, he has been instrumental in helping clients acquire some of the County’s largest contracts. Seth has special expertise on matters relating to transportation, technology, infrastructure, and environmental issues.
Seth’s career in Florida politics began early while volunteering for local campaigns and working as a page for the Florida Legislature and the Speaker of the Florida House throughout high school. Prior to joining LSN Partners, Seth worked for the State of Florida as an Assistant to the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives.
Seth holds an Environmental Master of Business Degree from Florida Atlantic University and is also a graduate of New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting and a Minor in Politics. He spent the first 10 years after graduating from NYU as a professional actor appearing in national advertising campaigns as well as performing in numerous theater, film and television productions.
He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the Port Everglades Association Environmental Committee, a founding member of the Democratic Professionals Network, and a Broward Democratic Party Precinct Committeeman. An active member of the Broward Democratic Party, Seth currently serves as its Treasurer, previously served as Chair of its Communications and Technology Committee, and is widely acknowledged for his political and environmental advocacy in the community.
