John Pessoa received a Bachelor of Arts in government, with a dual focus on political theory and Latin American politics, from Dartmouth College in 2016. A Miami native, he graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in 2012. As an associate at LSN, John works on a wide range of client matters and focuses primarily on conducting legislative, policy, and market research and analysis.
Prior to joining LSN, John worked as a research intern at a leading business advisory and government relations firm based in Washington, D.C. Founded by former high-ranking government officials, the firm helps clients penetrate new markets and navigate legal, regulatory, business, and political landscapes across the globe. At the firm, John focused primarily on work in the aerospace and defense, energy and resources, and homeland security sectors.
Fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese, John volunteers at the Miami Rescue Mission’s Jeffrey A. Tew Education Center for the homeless. John is a member of the Miami Rescue Mission’s Home Run for the Homeless Committee, a group focused on mentoring previously homeless men and fundraising for homeless initiatives, and he sits on the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Pillar Trustees Board.
