Emily Turek Mendelson

Emily Turek Mendelson is a Senior Policy Advisor at LSN Partners, where she supports clients with their government affairs, external affairs, public policy, and business strategy needs. Emily works with organizations to navigate complex policy and regulatory environments, build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and develop strategies that advance both organizational and public affairs priorities. Her experience spans the public and private sectors, giving her a strong understanding of how government, industry, and external stakeholders intersect and how clients can effectively position themselves within that landscape.

Prior to joining LSN, Emily worked across Washington’s government, advocacy, consulting, and strategic communications sectors. Her background includes working in the U.S. Senate, leading government affairs efforts for a national trade association, and advising clients through a health policy and public affairs consulting firm. She later brought that experience to the private sector, where she led strategic initiatives and external affairs for a healthcare startup. Across these roles, Emily has worked with Congress, the White House, federal agencies, industry leaders, and advocacy organizations and has advised senior executives on policy strategy, stakeholder engagement, coalition building, communications, and positioning around complex legislative and regulatory issues.

Now based in Miami, Emily is completing her Master of Health Administration at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Law, Politics & Society and Public Relations from Drake University.
