Jesse Manzano-Plaza’s experience in senior positions both in the public and private sectors brings a unique skill set to LSN Partners and LSN Communications. Jesse assists clients with issue advocacy and grassroots campaigns as well as strategic communications, crisis management and public outreach efforts.

Prior to joining LSN, Jesse served as Vice-president of Government and Public Affairs for Resorts World Miami, a subsidiary of the Genting group, where he worked closely with community and political leaders throughout Florida. His public sector experience includes working in Governor Jeb Bush’s communications and economic development offices, being appointed as chief of staff to the Secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation by Governor Charlie Crist, and working for city of Miami Mayor Manny Diaz.

In addition to this, Jesse has extensive experience in the political campaign realm, having worked on several local and statewide campaigns, including the $1.2 Billion Miami-Dade County School Board Bond referendum and Mayor Carlos Gimenez reelection, most recently.

Since 2004, Jesse has served as an officer in the Florida Army National Guard, deploying in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom to northern Iraq in 2009 and to Joint Task Force Guantanamo in 2014 respectively. He has successfully completed the Army’s Air Assault qualification course and was awarded a Bronze Star for merit in 2010. Jesse received his bachelor’s degree in French and International Relations from Florida International University.
