Diana C. Méndez is a director at LSN Partners where she counsels clients through all phases of the procurement process including identifying government contract opportunities, financing sources and opportunities for public-private partnerships. She also assists clients with teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, responsiveness and responsibility review, minority and disadvantage business enterprise certifications, contract negotiations and bid protests.

Diana drafts advocacy letters and represents clients before municipal agencies. Following a proactive approach to client representation, she also conducts legislative and regulatory research and analysis to advise clients about the latest developments in local, state and national policies that have an impact on their interests. As a director at LSN, Diana has worked with clients in a variety of industries including public transit, technology, real estate and construction, communications, health services and hospitality. In addition to her position at LSN Partners, Diana is also an attorney at Llorente & Heckler, P.A.

Prior to joining LSN Partners, Diana served as an Attorney Advisor for the Small Business Administration National Guaranty Purchase Center in Herndon, Virginia. There, she advised the Center Director regarding SBA regulations related to franchise operations, creditor and debtor rights, bankruptcy, secured transactions, real estate law, and administrative law.

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Diana arrived to the United States in 1999. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2006 from Florida International University. In 2010, she received her Juris Doctorate and graduated Cum Laude from the American University Washington College of Law and a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from American University’s School of International Service.
